On October 9th Air Power had the privilege of returning to The Heroes Center campus for our second annual Community Serve Day.

It was our absolute pleasure to devote our time, energy, and hearts into helping our campus take its next step.

Their volunteers tackled projects across the campus, including:
- Staining outdoor Flames for Freedom stage
- Staining the new deck on one of the transitional homes
- Painting the main venue building
- Landscaping and maintenance along Valor Ridge hillside
- Splitting firewood to prepare for upcoming Flames for Freedom events

It is our honor to give back to our communities...additionally being able to give back to organizations that serve our military veterans like The Heroes Center is just icing on the cake.

Air Power "Serve Days" continue as we attempt to give back to the outstanding communities we live and work in throughout the year.

Last week Janie, Brittany and Travis volunteered at the Hickory Soup Kitchen. They rotated/organized large walk in produce fridge stock and brought in multiple skids of produce to restock the shelves.

They also worked with chefs on chopping veggies, chicken and other items for use in the daily menu of chicken pot pie, cheddar broccoli and more. Also rolled silverware kits and various other projects. It was a great day.

I'm very excited to share our 1st batch of "SERVE DAY" photos for 2026.

Today the group led by Kyle Crawford and Brandon Senff volunteered time to "Warmth For Wake", a program that provides fire wood for families throughout Wake County during the winter months.

This team split wood and stacked what they split for folks to come pick up. This hard working team cut and stacked enough wood for 11 truckloads for nearby families this winter.

"Warmth For Wake" is a program that receives no tax-payer funding and relies on donations and volunteers to operate each winter. Their team is extremely dedicated to their cause and it was our pleasure to help them.

This is one of my favorite BEFORE & AFTER posts ever!! Just a beautiful paint kitchen install...from empty room to a well designed, high functioning dream kitchen. It's filled with so many of our vendor partners all working harmoniously together for our customer!
