We were grateful to be in Invited to participate in the annual Provo Girls Summit. The Summit is a career exploration event for girls ages 8-12. At the summit, girls get to meet one-on-one with female professionals from a variety of fields—women with jobs in business, tech, academia, art, science, and more. The goal is to help Provo girls make new connections, discover new interests, and imagine new possibilities.
There were a lot of great women there who are doing amazing things in their jobs: scientists, architects, FBI agents, artists, bakers, engineers, entrepreneurs ….It was a privilege to represent the Utah Professional Women in Building and visit with the girls about careers in construction. It was even more special for me to be able to be there with my youngest daughter who is also pursuing a career in Construction.
