Let’s talk about this one.

An insurance adjuster just told one of our customers that once the fallen tree is removed from her barn, the structure will just “go back into place” on its own. And the settlement offer to make that happen? $9,000.

A barn that’s been struck by a falling tree doesn’t just pop back into shape once the weight is lifted. Framing gets racked, connections get sheared, siding and roofing get compromised, foundations can shift. Real repair means real engineering, real labor, and real materials — not wishful thinking.
This is exactly why documentation matters. If you’ve had a claim adjusted and the numbers don’t match the actual damage, you don’t have to just accept it. Get a second opinion from a contractor who will put eyes on the structure and back it up with real scope and pricing.

We’re in your corner if you’re dealing with storm damage and feel like your insurance company is trying to lowball you. Give us a call — let’s make sure you get repaired right, not “back into place.”
