This week, Green Tech took on the task of returning the original Hillsboro-Union Center train to the Hillsboro area.

This train was from 1933 when one of the shortest rails - from Hillsboro to Union Center - was in operation. An engine and boxcar were returned to a set of tracks in the Hillsboro area between the Cheese Store and the old Kawasaki lot. Scroll through the photos to see the setting of the train, retrieval of the train from a wooded region North of Mauston/Adams area, and more.
