We just finished up a great project at the new Advantage Honda dealership in Fox Lake! Our team installed stained and polished concrete, sealed concrete, and decorative resinous flooring throughout the facility, from the showroom floor to the service bays.

Whether it's a customer walking through the front doors or a technician working in the service drive, this floor was built to look great and hold up to daily use for years to come.

Not all builds are created equal. On complex installations, MTH Industries brings in specialized engineering expertise to tackle high-level design constraints and tight tolerances. Here's how we tackled this one:

1️⃣ The Challenge: Installing oversized, heavy-laminated glass panels on a high-rise curtain wall in high-wind conditions, where even a few millimeters of deflection could compromise the seal.
2️⃣ The Solution: Custom structural glazing details paired with specialized rigging equipment, giving our crews the precision needed to set each panel exactly to spec—even 30+ stories up.
3️⃣ The Result: An aesthetically stunning, highly durable building envelope built to perform for decades, panel by panel.

Engineering glass isn't just about putting up panels, rather, anticipating structural behavior and coordinating with the right partners to execute safely.

Dann joins us with two decades of expertise in construction and steel fabrication. Most recently as a project and quality manager at Specialty Construction LLC, he has spent years leading the design, planning, and ex*****on of ornamental metals, structural steel, and glass railing projects to strict AISC audit standards.

At MTH, Dann will oversee operational ex*****on and sales across our steel and metalwork lines. His hands-on command of fabrication will ensure our projects hit the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

This 4th of July, we are celebrating America’s birthday by highlighting the historic landmarks that tell the story of our progress. For MTH Industries, shaping that history means preserving it. 🎆

Look no further than the historic Marquette Building in the heart of the Chicago Loop. Built in 1895, this National Historic Landmark is a testament to American craftsmanship and structural longevity.

When its iconic bronze entry systems needed a complete overhaul after more than 130 years of exposure, our specialized teams were trusted with the meticulous restoration. We carefully removed the massive door assemblies, rebuilt the internal mechanisms from the inside out, and reinstalled them—preserving every intricate ornamental detail next to the building's famed Tiffany mosaics.

We don't just build for the future; we protect the physical history that built this country from the ground up. Wishing our entire community, clients, and partners a safe and happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸✨
