Well, trying to do robotics has always been an interesting ride. We have had thousands of students participate in our STEM programs in the past 20 years. For more than two decades of successful competitions and community outreach, including State wide and International representation.
We are asking that you submit testimony to Oppose this budget since they have written learning centers out of their proposal.
This year we keep our funding, School year 25-26 we lose the $17,000 spending fund which is used to pay competition entry fees, buy parts for the robot and hire adult mentors to assist in our student focused programs.
School year 26-27 they will close all learning centers. Oppose Section VIII
We have a link to provide testimony but the budget confirmation hearing is Thursday so we want to get the word out quickly.

I'm going to speak with the students today after I sit with my admin to see if they wish to continue but without funding assistance we can't afford to run robotics.
If I could ask you to submit testimony and forward this link however you feel is appropriate. We have a large group of success stories and I'd like those stories on the record.
