Pothole 101: fixing a pothole does not simply mean filling them in with more gravel! Potholes are occurring because of overcompaction combined with standing water. The potholes essentially hold water, which is why potholes need to be totally removed first before new gravel can be added, otherwise they will quickly reoccur.

Our grading equipment 'scarifies' & loosens up your existing gravel before we re-grade & re-compact to a smooth durable surface.

Another common issue contributing to potholes is your gravel driveway being the 'wrong shape' which can happen over time as gravel sinks into the surrounding softer earth. Building your driveway back up to the proper crowned shape will shed water effectively; preventing puddling & potholes.

We're calling this project "everything but the gravel driveway" πŸ˜‚ Our customers had a new construction home where the property landscape was left unfinished. That's where we came in! From spreading loam, to fixing eye sores & past contractors mistakes, we spent a few days and 18 dump truck loads of material giving our customers some nice usable, finished spaces.

Work day 3 (final wrap up) on our Naples project // today we leveled low areas with 50yds gravel/fill/sand, and then spread 72 yds loam to finally finish off areas around our customers property that were left unfinished after construction a few years back. We also added 9yds crushed stone in front of their shed to create a turnaround & parking spot.

Work day 2 on our current Naples job // we backfilled a 150' electrical trench, put in a crushed stone patio, filled in a huge rough boulder area (took 30yds of fill!), and did some prep work for the final upcoming projects.

Today we moved + spread + compacted 72 yds material in total.
