We also want to clarify that this scholarship includes trade schools in addition to colleges and universities.

The Mama Susie Scholarship was created to support immigrant women in manufacturing who are continuing their education and working toward their goals.

A bar can look perfectly fine visually and still become a problem once production starts.

Anyone who has machined inconsistent material knows exactly what happens next:

One year later, and the impact continues.

We’re proud to share that the Mama Susie Scholarship for Advancing Immigrant Women in Manufacturing is returning for its second year in partnership with the Illinois Manufacturers' Association.

What started as a way to honor Mama Susie’s journey continues to create opportunities for immigrant women pursuing higher education and building their future.

This scholarship represents resilience, hard work, determination, and opening doors for the next generation.

At M&M Quality Grinding, we’re proud to support initiatives that help create more opportunities for women and continue strengthening the future workforce.

Applications are due June 1. Applicants do not have to be pursuing a manufacturing degree to apply.
