In 1972, Ray and Jan Plote chose to put down roots in Huntley. Through the years and across generations, the Plote family’s appreciation for this community has continued to grow.

Yesterday, we celebrated a new chapter at the naming ceremony for the 160-acre farm on Kreutzer Road they donated to the Village of Huntley.

This donation reflects the family’s lasting connection to Huntley and commitment to giving back. We’re excited to see what the Huntley Park District will create - a place for more families to put down roots, make memories, and enjoy all that Huntley has to offer!

Last Friday, the Plote team joined the Illinois Tollway and project partners to celebrate an opening milestone on I-490.

For our crews, this ceremony was an opportunity to see their hard work recognized alongside the many teams involved in bringing the project to this point.

We’re proud of our team’s contribution and grateful for the skill, dedication, and collaboration that make progress like this possible.

A Sunday spent walking for a cause close to so many of us. 💗

Our Plote Proud team joined the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, bringing together employees, family, and friends to support those affected by breast cancer.

Together, we raised over $7,000! Thank you to everyone who donated, walked with us, and helped make this day so special. We’re proud of the support and grateful to everyone who was part of it!

Drew and Tim recently represented Plote Construction at XBE Horizon 2026 in San Francisco!

The event brought together leaders from across heavy materials, logistics, and construction to exchange ideas and explore how new technology and intelligent automation are shaping the future of our industry.

On Saturday, a team of Plote Construction volunteers spent the day hanging drywall and laying sod at a Habitat for Humanity build.

We’re proud of our employees for giving their time and skills to help move this home one step closer to completion. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and to Habitat for Humanity for the opportunity to be part of the build.
