Greg Lopez, who has been driving for Plote for more than 30 years, recently pulled up to our main office with a very special delivery—a stockpile of pop tabs he has been collecting for the past eight years!

These tabs will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana, where they will be recycled to raise funds that help families stay close to their sick or injured children. The proceeds help provide families with a comfortable place to stay, home-cooked meals, and support during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Every tab brings us one step closer to our goal of collecting one million pop tabs—and helps make a meaningful difference for families in need.

A little teamwork for a great cause! ♻️🎨

A few members of the Plote team volunteered to paint and decorate new pop tab collection buckets, now located at our Main Office near dispatch and the Accounting Office.

We’re challenging our team to save their tabs as we work toward collecting 1,000,000 pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House Charities! So far, we’ve collected 110 lbs, and we need your help to keep that number growing.

Save your tabs at work and at home, get your family and friends involved, and drop them off at one of our collection buckets. Every tab gets us closer to one million!

This summer, we had the pleasure of welcoming an incredible group of interns to the Plote team.

Each intern gained hands-on experience in a different area of our business—from estimating and project management to field supervision —bringing enthusiasm, curiosity, and a strong work ethic every step of the way.

We’re proud of everything they’ve accomplished and grateful for the contributions they’ve made throughout the summer. Wishing each of them the very best as they head back for the upcoming school year. We look forward to seeing all they’ll achieve in the future!
