Myth: “Upgrading is too disruptive.”
Reality: Avoiding upgrades often creates greater long-term cost and operational strain than the disruption they are meant to prevent.
Inefficiencies tend to compound over time, embedding themselves deeper into daily workflows and making processes increasingly difficult to improve. Workarounds, while initially temporary, often become normalized, shaping how teams operate and limiting overall effectiveness.
As these patterns persist, output begins to suffer in more subtle but significant ways, including reduced productivity, inconsistent performance, and rising costs that are not always immediately visible.
The real risk is not the disruption that comes with change, but the long-term impact of allowing outdated systems and processes to remain in place.
