There’s something about a rainy morning. Dirty clothes left on the floor, crafts on the table, and dishes from the night before don’t even bother me in this morning light.

Current project update: This little bathroom got a major upgrade. We closed off the second entrance to this room and saved the old original wood door (which is gorgeous and full of character) and turned it into a new pocket door to save space. Our client had no storage before and wanted to fit storage into any nook we could. Those little cubbies turned out so cute!

Summer goals: read the books, spend more time in the garden, embrace the mess/noise along with the beauty, work on our own projects, enjoy the farm, sit by the lake. Summer break is officially here for us. The work still needs to be done but I’m convicted to slow down. Summer in Michigan is one of my favorite places to be.
