In September 2020, ZeroAvia created history with a world-first flight of a six-seat aircraft powered by hydrogen fuel cells. Now that achievement and our subsequent breakthrough flight testing and technology development are celebrated in one of the world's most prestigious aeronautics museums!
On the National Mall in Washington DC, the National Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Institution is hosting an exhibition entitled "Aerospace and Our Changing Environment" in The Allan and Shelley Holt Innovations Gallery (Gallery 105 on the first floor), and it features the 250kW powertrain from ZeroAvia’s first hydrogen-electric flight testing.
From the Wright brothers first flight at Kitty Hawk, through the first steps on the moon, right up to the recent milestones in hydrogen-electric flight, the museum is an absolute must visit for any aviation and engineering enthusiasts visiting DC this spring and summer.
