Bulk GAC does not move on its own, so we built a system that makes it look easy...ish.

Whether media is heading into a vessel or coming out of one, a telehandler-mounted hopper controls the flow while the crew guides each supersack into place by hand.
It is heavy work, and it is what keeps a system's discharge within permit limits instead of raising questions later.

Compliance doesn't happen on its own. Someone has to check on it, log it, and catch problems before they turn into bigger ones.

Our field crews, OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER-certified, handle startup and commissioning support, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting for flow, pressure, and performance issues, with documentation that holds up for inspections and closeout. For clients running ongoing O&M programs, that includes day-to-day operation by our state-certified operators.

Good design shows up in how easy a system is to monitor, not in how it looks on paper.

Every system starts with real data: flow requirements, site conditions, and discharge criteria, sometimes backed by treatability testing to right-size it before fabrication ever starts. From there, gauges, sample ports, and remote monitoring get placed where a technician actually needs them, not just where they fit.

We design, fabricate, and install these systems in-house. It shows up in how easy they are to read once they're live in the field, keeping NPDES compliance and daily monitoring from turning into a scavenger hunt.

When this MWT-2K2 trailer came back in for annual maintenance, the team went through everything — filters swapped, carbon vessels replumbed in series, hoses replaced, flow meter swapped out, vessels repainted, trailer lights repaired.

On construction sites, groundwater management rarely goes exactly as planned. Flow rates change, contaminants show up that weren't in the initial assessment, and discharge deadlines don't move.

Sand filtration is often the first treatment step. It pulls suspended solids out of the water before it hits your GAC vessels or resin beds, keeps your downstream media from loading prematurely, and helps you stay within your TSS discharge limits.

Summer means systems running hard and schedules that don't leave room for surprises.

Whether it's a long-term pump-and-treat system or a temporary construction dewatering setup, the compliance side of the job doesn't change: the system needs to perform, the samples need to pass, and the permit requirements need to be met every time someone shows up on-site.

Desiree Yaksic joined Global in 2004 as our Operations Support, and if you've ever wondered how things stay organized around here — invoices moving, events coordinated, the team showing up to things on-time — that's Desiree. She's the operational backbone that keeps the day-to-day running.
