There is proposed legislation to reduce the width of a residential pier in efforts to help the Bay (not to mention the current ridiculous hoops the MDE forces homeowners to jump through), meanwhile Montgomery county is pumping millions of gallons of sewage into the Potomac… Where is the real problem? Efforts are focused in the wrong places. You can’t clean up the Bay from behind a desk.

It has been estimated that approximately 300 million gallons of wastewater have overflowed from the spill.
