A full custom kitchen design and build for a couple in Hollywood, Florida, just east of I95, delivered exactly as they asked for it, down to the last detail.
The home's vaulted plank ceiling and exposed beams gave us real height to work with, so we designed the kitchen to feel open and uninterrupted. High gloss handleless uppers keep the long wall clean, and a deep navy island grounds the room against the softer blue gray perimeter.
One of our favorite touches is the integrated LED lighting. It's fully adjustable across a full range of colors and color temperatures, so the clients can go warm and soft for dinner, bright and neutral for cooking and prep, or shift the whole room to a color for entertaining.
Same kitchen, completely different feel at the touch of a button.
What went into it:
• Custom high gloss slab front cabinetry, handleless uppers with slim bar pulls below
• Two tone palette, periwinkle blue gray perimeter with a navy island base
• Integrated LED lighting with multiple color and brightness settings
• Thick white quartz countertops with a mitered edge
• Full height solid backsplash with warm under cabinet lighting
• Pro style stainless gas rangetop with a built in wall oven below
• Built in microwave drawer for a clutter free counter
• Integrated stainless wine and beverage cooler
• Blue art glass pendants over the island
• Layout designed around the vaulted ceiling and the existing terrazzo floors
