To paraphrase a famous Mike Tyson quote, "everybody's got a plan until they get hit," so when you've got to swing 68' trusses 20ish feet in the air, you need a plan. Shout out to Junior for pulling this out of the playbook. This might not be as pretty as the pictures of the cafe we posted last week but you've got to appreciate the dirty work that goes into building the structure just as much as the pretty finishes that go on the exterior. Twenty-one on the crew that day with the help of a few other local contractors. The weather was a balmy 22 degrees with stiff breeze ...just another day at the office for True Harmony Builders.

We recently finished the exterior of the cafe. This project features included the textured standing seam metal roof, textured board and batten steel siding and the timber frame porch. We'll be back to do some interior finishes when the other trades are ready for us.

With the impending bad weather on the way the crew jumped into action Friday morning to get the trusses set and the roof steel installed before the snow. Shout out to Junior, Sam, Johnny, Leo, Pedro, Mike, Allen, Josh and Enos for putting in a long and productive day. Left the shop at 4:00 am, truss set at 7:00 am and back to the shop at 6:00 pm.
