Why do our county road departments not keep the main roads open ? They don't clear the snow but one lane. Then the melt starts and the roads are impassable. I'm not asking for all the roads to be perfect, just the main ones. Ems can't know what roads are open because they open roads no one drives. OPEN THE MAIN ROADS. I called a phillips County commissioner today and was told learn how to live in the country. I am 53 years old and have never lived in town. This guy moved to the country two years ago. Wtf. YOU VOTED HIM IN! By the way Gerald your roads are passable. I did call another commissioner and was received very politely. I know this is out of the ordinary to have a winter like this but come on. I live on the Philips county Yuma county line. I will say Phillips is way better than Yuma but come on. Establish main roads and we can get to them. We being residents in your county and the emergency responders. I am willing to meet with any and all commissioners from Phillips County or Yuma County to show you the mess that is being created that won't go away when the snow melts.
