Along with production runs, laser cutting is the perfect choice for templates, jigs, prototypes and any sheet metal part that would be too costly to machine or impossible to duplicate using conventional methods. Many times laser cutting can compete with other conventional methods of production such as drilling, punching and shearing of bar stock and sheet metal.
