🕊️ In Loving Memory of Sherman Hao 🕊️
We continue to honor and remember Sherman Blase Hao, O‘ahu Ready-Mix Manager, whose leadership, dedication, and aloha left an indelible mark on HC&D and everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.
On January 6th, our HC&D ʻohana came together to celebrate Sherman’s life and legacy. The memorial service was preceded by a powerful moment of remembrance at 7:30am, as the entire O‘ahu fleet of Ready-Mix trucks participated in a 10-second horn hold, honoring Sherm and the impact he had on our company and community.
With heartfelt gratitude, we extend our mahalo to:
- Noa Castro, Momi Glushenko, and the entire O‘ahu Ready-Mix team, the HC&D Events & Wellness Committee, and the HC&D HR Department for their care and dedication in organizing the memorial service.
- Kahu Kenneth Makuakane for his meaningful p**e and message
- HC&D President Eileen Mori-Mishina and Senior Vice President of Operations, Rick Volner Jr. for sharing heartfelt memories of Sherman
- Iwalani Wagner for creating the beautiful recap video, above
Sherman’s legacy of service, humility, and genuine care for others will continue to guide us. He will always be a part of the HC&D ʻohana and will never be forgotten.
With gratitude, love, and aloha — your HC&D ʻohana.
