Trillium technology supporting ISR operations in the field.

During a recent rotation at Fort Polk's JRTC, U.S. Army Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division prepared an Aerosonde UAS equipped with Trillium's HD80-MV for reconnaissance missions supporting real-time situational awareness and tactical operations.

Designed for long-range ISR, the HD80-MV delivers stabilized EO/IR imaging, exceptional optical performance, and reliable target tracking in demanding operational environments. Whether supporting reconnaissance, surveillance, or target identification, the HD80 Series provides operators with the clarity and confidence needed to make informed decisions.

Detection is only part of the mission.

Integrated aboard ’s Reliant UAS, the HD59-MLVS combines advanced imaging with laser designation to support precision targeting—all within the compact, low-SWaP design operators expect from Trillium.

Proud to see the HD59 helping Reliant bring advanced ISR and targeting capabilities to a compact uncrewed platform.

Picture-in-Picture gives operators the close-up detail they need without losing sight of the larger scene.

When working within a narrow field of view, operators can gain a detailed view of a target—but that straw view can limit awareness of what is happening around it. If the target moves outside the frame, it may also become more difficult to reacquire.

Picture-in-Picture capability within Trillium Engineering’s HD59 series helps mitigate that challenge by allowing operators to view complementary imagery simultaneously. A narrow-field view can support detailed observation or tracking, while a wider view preserves situational awareness across the surrounding environment.

With flexible sensor configurations, operators can select the combination of sensors and fields of view best suited to the mission and operating conditions.

More context. Greater flexibility. A clearer picture of the mission environment.

Field of view shapes more than what an operator sees. It shapes how they understand the scene.

A wide field of view provides context, helping operators scan terrain, follow movement, and maintain awareness of the broader environment. A narrow field of view provides the detail needed for closer observation and target identification.

The challenge is balancing both. As the view narrows, detail increases, but surrounding context becomes easier to lose.

Trillium designs imaging systems around that challenge, giving operators the flexibility to move between situational awareness and precise observation as the mission demands.

Because the full mission picture rarely fits within a single field of view.

Trillium Engineering develops airborne imaging systems that deliver the clarity, stability, and precision operators depend on across today’s most demanding ISR missions.

For Group 2 UAS, our lightweight, SWaP-C-optimized gimbals deliver reliable EO/IR performance without compromising platform endurance or mission capability.

Because when mission success depends on what you can see, every detail matters.

Every mission has different objectives.

Every platform has different constraints.

That's why Trillium builds a family of airborne imaging systems—not a one-size-fits-all solution.

From ultra-lightweight payloads for small UAS to advanced multi-sensor systems for long-range ISR, our products are designed to balance SWaP, imaging performance, and mission capability across a wide range of operational requirements.

Whatever the platform, the goal remains the same:
Deliver reliable imagery operators can trust.

Size doesn't have to limit performance.

The HD25-LV combines EO and LWIR imaging in a compact, SWaP-C optimized payload designed for Group 1 and Group 2 UAS.

With onboard stabilization, scene tracking, geopointing, and geolocation, it brings the capabilities of larger gimbals to smaller platforms—helping operators maintain reliable situational awareness without adding unnecessary size or weight.

Low SWaP isn’t just an engineering advantage. It’s a mission advantage.
Reducing the size, weight, and power demands of an imaging payload can give UAS platforms greater flexibility across the mission:

• More available capacity for fuel, sensors, or other payloads
• Longer potential flight endurance
• Integrations across smaller platforms
• Reduced demand on onboard power
• Greater freedom to configure the platform around mission needs

For operators, that means more capability without unnecessarily burdening the aircraft.

Trillium Engineering designs compact, high-performance EO/IR imaging systems to deliver the clarity, stability, and reliability missions demand—while preserving more of what the platform can do.

Because every gram, watt, and inch has an impact in the air.

Mission capability starts with integration.

This Sky-Drones UAS is equipped with a Trillium Engineering EO/IR payload, bringing stabilized airborne imaging and reliable situational awareness to demanding missions.

Compact, low-SWaP, and designed for seamless integration, Trillium gimbals give UAS platforms the imaging capability needed to see farther, operate longer, and deliver actionable intelligence from the air.

One platform. A clearer picture of the mission.

What happens when embedded AI meets onboard processing?

NyxCore transforms full-motion video into actionable intelligence through real-time detection, tracking, classification, geolocation, and decision support—all performed at the point of capture.

By combining embedded AI with onboard processing, NyxCore helps operators move beyond simply watching video to interacting with mission-critical information in real time.

The result is faster situational awareness, reduced operator workload, and more informed decisions at the tactical edge.
