We have a new position open for a HVAC/R Helper!!
We are seeking an energetic and motivated HVAC/R Helper to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical fields. As a Helper, you will support skilled technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling, refrigeration, and related equipment across diverse property types.
Duties:
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
- Support service technicians in troubleshooting using schematics and technical diagrams.
- Help with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and refrigeration lines.
- Use tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for fabrication or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols during field service operations.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks including appliance repair and general mechanical upkeep.
- Assist with organizing company stock and van stocks.
- Assist with old equipment breakdowns and metal scrap yard runs.
- Assist with maintaining company vehicles
- Assist with parts pick up’s and deliveries to jobs.
Experience:
Prior experience in service technician, install and other HVAC/R roles is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, or mechanical systems is a plus.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, refrigeration, air conditioning systems, or appliance repair is advantageous.
Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience helps in understanding system operations.
Ability to operate tools like ohmmeters or perform equipment repair tasks is a plus.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred.
Willingness to learn about HVAC/R systems and HVAC/R technology.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
