Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Corporate Financial Controller based in Elmira, NY. The successful candidate will be in charge of the Accounting Department and will be responsible for generating the monthly and year-end financial statements; will monitor cash flow; create budgets and forecasts, and will oversee payroll, cost accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable. This individual will prepare schedules for the year-end audit which is done by an outside accounting firm. The controller position will be a member of the Management Team and will report directly to the CEO. The successful candidate will have valuable input to the profitability of the company.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
-Proficiency in preparing and managing financial statements and financial reporting
-Strong analytical skills and knowledge in finance
-Experience with accounting practices and principles
-Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret financial data
-Knowledge of ERP systems and advanced proficiency in financial software
-Proven experience in a similar role

Salary:
Starting salary range: $150,000 (based on experience) + year end profit bonus

Swift Glass Company has an immediate opening for a customer service representative. This full-time position requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will develop relationships with a subset of current customers, using both the phone and internet, ensuring Swift Glass’s customer requirements are being met by coordinating with estimating, production, and order scheduling. We are looking for a reliable individual with an eagerness to learn. Computer knowledge and strong math skills are beneficial. Swift Glass works as a team. The position will include both independent and collaborative effort. An associate’s degree and a minimum of 2 years customer service experience in a manufacturing industry preferred but not required.
