We wrapped up this dock in Kingsland last week, and we're thrilled with the result.

Here are a few reasons why this two-story dock stands out and checks all the boxes:
- Practical storage closet
- Sleek cable handrail
- Exposed 2nd-story tanning area
- Hydraulic boat & PWC lifts from Golden Boat Lifts
- K+R Dock padding inside the boat slips
- Folding dock ladder from WetSteps
- Stunning standing seam roof installed by Precision Metal Roofing LLC
- Flawless concrete done by DNJ Septics & Construction

Huge thanks to our incredible employees who worked their rears off to meet this deadline for our customer.

We'll be back in a few weeks to install a super fun slide, and then it'll be 100% complete.

Every great dock starts with an even stronger foundation.

We've moved on to our next dock in Escondido, where we are gearing up to pour concrete on this massive retaining wall. Once that's complete, we'll move on to the structural stage. Follow along to watch the progress!

Incoming Flood Surge on the Llano River — Anticipated Impacts Within 48 to 60 Hours

ATTENTION RESIDENTS: EMERGENCY NOTICE — FLOOD WATCH
LAKE LBJ WATERFRONT PROPERTIES
7/17/2026 - 11:45 AM CDT

Heavy rainfall and flooding in areas west of our region are producing a significant flood surge that is moving rapidly down the Llano River. This water will flow through Lake LBJ and Lake Marble Falls and is expected to fill Lake Travis to above its full level within the next 48 to 60 hours.

The Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) River Management Team has been taking proactive measures to lower the Highland Lakes ahead of the surge as it moves from west to east. It is predicted that these actions will mitigate the majority of potential flooding in the Horseshoe Bay area.

However, flood events are not completely predictable. Residents along the lake's water edge, lake banks, and connected tributary creeks may experience water levels that exceed the banks and cause localized flooding.

Recommended Actions
Secure or remove any loose items near the water's edge — furniture, watercraft, dock equipment, coolers, tools, and similar property — to limit damage and reduce the chance of items being swept away by unpredictable rises in flood water.

Monitor LCRA's Flood Status page for up-to-date information on this event at Hydromet - Flood Operations Report: https://hydromet.lcra.org/floodstatus/.

Stay clear of the water. Hazards over the coming week may include flooding, floating and submerged debris, and elevated bacteria levels in flood water.

If a roadway goes under water, turn around — don't drown. Never drive or walk through flooded roadways. Do not put yourself or others at risk.

The City of Horseshoe Bay will monitor this flood event continuously and will issue emergency notifications if conditions warrant a warning of impending danger. Impacts are expected to affect our area over the next week. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

IN A LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCY, CALL 9-1-1. For non-emergency city information, contact Horseshoe Bay City Center at 830.598.8741.
