We're very happy and proud to share this. Our crew and subcontractors put 110% into this successful restoration..

Congratulations to Jeff Virchow and Rick Vezina, recipients of the 2025 Board of Curators Historic Restoration Award for a project over $1 million!

Their leadership was instrumental in restoring the Historic Auditorium in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. Commissioned by the Village Board of St. Croix Falls and erected in 1916, this building has long served as a cultural cornerstone of the community. With support from the City of Saint Croix Falls Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, Virchow and Vezina carefully balanced the need for modern accessibility with the equally important goal of preserving the building’s historic character. Today, the Historic Auditorium once again provides a vibrant space for cultural events, demonstrating how restoration can bring historic buildings back into meaningful community use.

You're invited to our Grand Welcoming event on Thursday, October 30th! 2025 has been full of exciting firsts for us here at The Historic Auditorium. This year, we were awarded the Wisconsin Historical Society's Historic Restoration Award, so we thought what better way to celebrate than by inviting you and everyone who made this building's future a reality to an evening of history, live music, and community.

Plus, this will be our unveiling of the finished main floor Library room! You won't want to miss it.

We are excited to be working with the Wisconsin DNR at Interstate Park to rebuild this historic horizon rock park shelter that was destroyed by fire several years ago. Our talented carpenters are assembling log beams and rafters to replicate the old CCC technique used by the crews 90 years ago. The stone masonry was tuck-pointed and washed to look like new. It will be good for another 100 years!
