Responsibilities:
• Accurately enter payroll and benefits data
• Assist with payroll and accounting functions

Champagne Energy & Environmental Solutions is hiring a detail-oriented HR Generalist/Clerk to support daily HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, employee support, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with recruiting and interview coordination
• Support onboarding (new hire paperwork, orientation, background checks)
• Maintain employee records and ensure I-9 compliance
• Respond to employee questions and provide HR support
• Process terminations and assist with benefits (COBRA)
• Support safety/security procedures, including drug/alcohol screenings
• Perform front desk duties (phones, greeting visitors)
• Assist with general HR projects, scanning, and filing

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years HR experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and communication skills

What You’ll Bring:
• CDL A with Air Brake & Hazmat endorsements (required)
• 2+ years of on-road driving experience
• Experience with semi-trailers (flatbed/mini float is a plus)
• Strong work ethic and attention to safety

What You’ll Do:
• Run local and regional routes (LA Gulf Coast + occasional TX, MS, FL)
• Complete inspections, logs, and required paperwork
• Safely secure and transport equipment
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed
