It's been a fantastic two days at the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) World Drilling Conference in Amsterdam 🇳🇱 this week!

From welcoming faces old and new to our booth, providing demos and attending technical sessions - including watching our very own Michael Fry take part in the supply chain panel session - it has been action packed and very successful 🙌

Last week we welcomed a group of Wintershall Noordzee B.V. production operators & supervisors to our training facility in Apeldoorn 🇳🇱

The purpose of the visit was to take a closer look at the downhole completion & wellhead equipment we have on display at our facility and to discuss possible operational issues / malfunctions in relation to well integrity. The discussion was facilitated by our instructor Nico van Spijker.

Our visitors really appreciated the discussion and hearing more about back-up features like the “backseat” in a gate valve - thanks to everyone who came along and thanks to Nico for sharing his insights🙌

🔧 Getting hands-on experience 🛠️

Yelmer Maarseveen spent valuable time up close with our 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐒𝐢𝐦 𝟓𝟎𝟎𝟎, guided by our instructor, Nico van Spijker 🙌

We use a combination of theory and practical hands-on simulator experience to help our candidates develop a deep understanding of well control concepts.
