Last week, Team Brookstone Construction, in collaboration with Paul Yeatts Enterprises Inc., installed a bronze statue of St. Michael at Cathedral High School. Led by Jake Nguyen, the project involved sculptor Cody Swanson from Italy, Cosmati Architects, and school representatives. The statue is an intricate work of art on a marble pedestal with a unique silver patina. Brookstone is proud to contribute to this meaningful project and values its partnership with the school and church. Well done, Team Brookstone!

Throwback Friday! Additions made to the beautiful St. Helens Catholic Church of Pearland, Texas in 2017. Materials used were 8”x16” colored burnished CMU and oversized 16”x32” colored cmu to construct a decorative overhang, allowing the upper roof line to stand out along the building. A very cool project for PYEI to complete, as the Yeatts family are Pearland locals 🍐

This past month, PYEI packed up their knowledge and skills and joined the Masonry Rocks event organized by Texas Masonry Council 🧱 This function allowed us, along with our peers to teach our youth all the ins and outs of the field of masonry in an exciting and hands on way. Today, our PYEI crew are dry fitting brick for a current project at Turner's Cut steakhouse here in Houston! This custom glass brick is being prepped to be cut using a water jet by NN Services LLC for a self supporting brick archway.

We are excited to announce with great pride that our very own founder, Paul Yeatts has been inducted into the Texas Masonry Hall of Fame! Paul was known for his profound dedication and knowledge of the industry and received many awards and accolades throughout his lifetime, but this induction 18 years after his passing truly exhibits the incredible mark he left on the field of masonry. It is an honor here at PYEI to carry on his legacy, and an honor to witness the recognition he so greatly deserves. A big congratulations to the 4 other 2024 inductees!

The Cathedral High School project in the campus of Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Church received the Honor Award for a Government/Institutional project at the 2023 ACMH Golden Trowel Awards held at the The Junior League of Houston, Inc.. It’s an honor to have built this beautiful project.
