I love this picture but it would have had much more meaning if I were holding a cigar. Everyone knows I have loved ci**rs since 1995.
I look at the picture and see so many things that are typical of 1990, like my "brick" phone. I was so proud to have a mobile phone back then. I remember Dana Wilke calling me one time while I was driving on the Beltway 8 and I answered. He was astonished. I was astonished that my main line back at the office had transferred the call to my cell. We were very small back them.
Other artifacts visible in the picture are my electric eraser, my lead pointer, and my boom box, all essential to the job. You can't see the parallel bar or the belly bar, but they were there. I really loved those days because I was drawing then and dependant on no one to produce. Now days I can't draw anything because the computer has passed me by. I can still sketch though!
