Our neighbors The Pure Parenting Shop are taking a list of donations found below for all of the survivors of the Hill Country Floods.
We are accepting donations Tuesday to Saturday 10 am - 5 pm. I am in contact with some businesses in Ingram and some families I met in the shelter in Hunt on Friday to try and work out a list of needs as well as a list of people needing help. For now we will take any emergency items and clean up items that you are able to give. I know the churches in Kerrville are full of things and asking that no more be delivered at this time. We will use our classroom to store it till we take it up as they need it. Beyond the obvious we will also need boxes so we can organize the items to be able to deliver them up. I am not sure when I will go up for the first trip but it will be mid week I believe. I am waiting to get a car as mine was swept away. Thank you all for wanting to help. Hunt has become such a special place for my kids and I as we spend every summer there as they attend La Junta and Sierra Vista Camps.
