Making a Difference, One Community at a Time 🌎✨

As part of the Keep Houston Beautiful Adopt-A-Block program, the OTHON team recently cleaned a stretch of Wilcrest Drive between Bellaire Boulevard and the Westpark Tollway. Together, we collected 16 five-gallon bags and 2 ten-gallon bags of litter, removing an estimated 400 pounds of trash from the area.

This cleanup was especially meaningful because OTHON's original office was located near Wilcrest Drive, giving us the opportunity to give back to a community that played an important role in our company's early growth.

In addition to helping keep Houston beautiful, our team was proud to support the Waller County 4th of July Rodeo by assembling and donating goody baskets and first aid kits for the event. It was a privilege to contribute to such a wonderful community.

Opportunities like these allow us to serve, connect, and make a positive impact beyond our everyday work. Thank you to our employees and community partners who help make these efforts possible. We are proud to be part of the communities we serve and look forward to continuing to give back. 💙🤠🌟

Behind every successful match day is thoughtful planning and seamless coordination.
OTHON, INC. is proud to provide field support for transportation operations during major events at the Dallas Stadium. Our team assisted with implementing Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), verifying traffic control layouts and signage, monitoring traffic and transit operations in the field, coordinating with agency staff and event personnel, and helping address operational issues to support the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, buses, pedestrians, transit riders, rideshare, and event traffic.
From transportation planning to real-time operational support, we're committed to enhancing the arrival and departure experience while helping keep people moving safely and efficiently.
A special thank you to our dedicated OTHON team members-Ana Cervantes-Retta, Syed Ameenuddin Hussaini, Beth Shelton, as well as Tom Grant with Kimley Horn for their professionalism, teamwork, and commitment in supporting these transportation operations. Ben Anderson PE-Chief Structural Engineer
Ben's deep technical knowledge and commitment to engineering excellence ensures that every structure we design meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.
Outside of the office, Ben truly values quality time with his family. Whether he is gathered around a campfire or casting a line out on the water, some of his favorite moments are spent camping and fishing with his loved ones. Before stepping into the world of engineering, Ben built a strong foundation-quite literally! He spent time working as a carpenter in residential construction, where his hands-on experience gave him a deep appreciation for how structures come together from the ground up. It was through that work that his passion for structural engineering was born, and he made the decision to take that knowledge and passion to the next level by pursuing it academically and professionally. That combination of real-world experience and academic excellence is what makes Ben such a valuable and well-rounded member of our team.

Ryan Krause PE-Structures Business Group Leader
Ryan brings exceptional leadership and technical expertise to every project, guiding our structures team to deliver innovative and reliable engineering solutions across Texas.

Outside of work, Ryan is a dedicated family man who cherishes every moment spent with his wife and their two energetic little boys, aged 2 and 3. Whether he's wrestling, playing, or cheering on the sidelines at his son's soccer games, family is truly at the center of his world. When he gets a little downtime, Ryan enjoys watching movies, keeping up with sports, and satisfying his curiosity by exploring a wide variety of interesting topics. As for his path into engineering, during his college orientation, Ryan made a spontaneous decision that would shape his entire career. When he discovered that his natural strength in mathematics could lead him toward engineering, he was told "well, there's engineering, but that's too hard."
Ryan's response? "Okay, I'll do that." And just like that, a challenge became a calling. That same drive and determination he showed at orientation is the exact mindset he brings to work every single day.

Last Wednesday, the OTHON team had a great time participating in Judge Mark Henry’s annual golf tournament and hosting a booth out on the course.

We enjoyed meeting golfers, industry partners, and community leaders who stopped by our hole throughout the day. Events like these provide a valuable opportunity to build relationships, strengthen partnerships, and connect with the people who help shape the communities we serve.

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and helped make the event such a success. We appreciate the opportunity to be involved and look forward to seeing you again at future events.

We’re excited to highlight Sudheer Dhulipala, who recently completed a 7-week program through the Williamson County Citizens’ Academy-a highly selective experience designed for Williamson County residents to better understand how local government operates.

Sudheer gained valuable insight into:
•Local government decision making and the role of budgeting in supporting community growth
•County leadership, including the function of Commissioners Court and the region’s history
•Essential public services, including law enforcement, infrastructure, and emergency response, as well as community resources such as parks and animal services

The program reflects Sudheer’s dedication to gaining a deeper understanding of local government operations and community development.

Why Planning & Traffic Engineering? 🚧
Sudheer was drawn to civil engineering early in his career because of its diversity and wide range of opportunities. Over time, he discovered a strong passion for traffic and transportation planning, where he could see both the details and the bigger picture.

What he enjoys most is the ability to:
•Plan for the future of growing communities
•Analyze data to improve how people move
•Contribute to smarter, more efficient infrastructure
His work requires a strong analytical mindset, combined with a forward-thinking approach—qualities that make him a natural fit for planning.
