Providers can open an account, and order supplies and tests from Excelsior Diagnostics.

I’m relieved to see that drive through testing is focusing on 65 and older with symptoms. This is the most at-risk group out there that needs testing during this shortage. If you have a child that you may suspect has it or you are a young adult that feels the need to test..what’s right is testing for those who need it most right now. If you are younger and feel sick, just quarantine for 14 days. There is nothing you can do other than stop spreading it! Leave the tests for the people that are at risk of dying. This has been our Excelsior Dx medical ethics strategy during COVID-19 outbreak. #

Excelsior Diagnostics just took delivery of test kits designed by Luminex Corporation to aid in the detection of . This kit is an extension of our existing Respiratory Pathogen Panel, meaning we will be searching for the in addition to all the other targets currently included in the assay. Hello America. I know there is a testing shortage and you have a Houston lab that performs the same testing the CDC performs for confirmation within 24-48 hours. We are one of the few PCR labs in the US! COVID-19 starts at Excelsior Dx on Tuesday.
