Filament absorbs moisture from the air, which causes stringing, popping, and brittle prints. Here’s the setup I use — airtight cereal containers with a 3D-printed insert, silica gel, and a hygrometer in each. Under $10 per container.

We wanted to take a minute and actually introduce ourselves, instead of just diving straight into products. Knowing who you’re trusting with your business is often more important than the products themselves.

Recon Kustoms is a family-run shop built on two things: craftsmanship and a genuine love for gear that actually holds up.

My background is in first responder work and that’s shaped everything about how we build. When your equipment matters, when it has to work, every shift, no excuses, you develop zero tolerance for anything cheap or flimsy. That mindset is baked into every piece we make.

What began as solving problems for the gear we used ourselves has grown into a full lineup: rugged, personalized accessories built duty-tough for first responders and everyday carry, alongside custom laser-engraved gifts, tumblers, and keepsakes for anyone who wants something one-of-a-kind.

Every product that carries our name gets held to the same standard: solid materials, real attention to detail, and a finish that looks right next to the gear you already trust.

No shortcuts, no glossy cheap prints pretending to be tough.
