‼️ NOW HIRING: ASSISTANT DRILLER (BRAZIL) ‼️
Helix do Brasil is an experienced Assistant Driller to join the operations team (14 x14) at Helix in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The Assistant Driller acts as the on-site lead for well operations in the MPT and deck areas, representing the Driller. Key responsibilities include coordinating operations safely and efficiently in line with the approved program and company policies. The Assistant Driller must be knowledgeable about Well Control and Well Intervention regulations, ensuring adherence among all personnel. This role also involves managing the Intervention System during operations and collaborating with Subsea, Coil Tubing, Pumping, and Wireline Supervisors.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience working effectively as an Assistant Driller or a similar role in well intervention projects.
• Proficiency in the English language.

Last week, Sam Perryman, the Operations Director at Helix do Brasil, gave a presentation at the SPE Brazil Decommissioning Symposium held at the Windsor Barra Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Additionally, Sam participated in a panel discussion that focused on the key factors for success in various abandonment campaigns. The panel explored the different levels of integration and contract structures necessary for safe and effective well abandonment operations offshore Brazil.
