I'm looking forward to participating and presenting at Agremgas GLP's 5th International LPG Summit and reconnecting with many of my industry friends at the Hotel Dann Carlton, in Cali, Colombia.
Given the serious challenges our industry currently faces in a supply-constrained, war-torn marketplace β where both product availability and transportation assets (such as VLGC cargo vessels) are falling well short of global LPG import demand β the Agremgas conference offers a timely opportunity for LPG business leaders to discuss the largest disruption to global energy supply since the dawn of the oil and gas industry, assess the ramifications for our companies, and explore practical ways to navigate this ongoing supply crisis.
No world energy crisis, including the 1973 oil crisis, comes close to the scale of disruption caused by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. In numerous Asia-Pacific countries, LPG consumers have run out of supply and are standing in long queues for hours, often being turned away and forced to return home with empty cylinders.
I look forward to discussing and quantifying the gravity of this global crisis and demonstrating the profound impact it is having on our industry and the millions of consumers who rely on our product every day for cooking and heating.
For anyone interested in attending, I will be speaking at the conference at 4:30 pm (1630 hrs) on June 4, 2026. I've provided a link to the conference agenda below:
