It's just as fine with me if there is only one student in a class. He gets all my attention. It's happened in the past. But here he is doing a lab on water and its properties.
Remind me to tell my student to pull his hair back next time.

They do be busy with me in class. This class has a unique blend of continuous 2 year and 3 year students blended with one year later returning students that came back and new students.
Introducing the Physical Science Class of 2627
One of the unique features in this class is they are all athletes of different sports. The irony? I'm not a sports person. However I would go and support them in their competition or games. Just someone may have to explain whats happening.

Teaching them to scale. It would be fun they said.
Well they were right. I enjoy showing students how to collect mass of objects.
I will say they don't like when the have to use the triple beam.
Say hello to the Earth Environmental Class of 2627
I'm happy to have returning brothers that enjoy being in the SWD Lab. I cool feature to this class its small so the majority of the learning is discussion based and assessment through sacratic methods. It's easier on the paper that way.

Introducing Life Science class 2627.

I have to say this has been the largest class I have had yet. 10 students strong and they keep me on my toes. I welcome them with warm learning and countless memories as they embark their learning window here at swd.

Unfortunate news from the lab.

Atom the Science World Discovery Lab Pet has died this morning.
He had refused to eating a few weeks ago and I was forced feeding and watering him the past week.
Atom as he was givin to me from the Garner family students Azden and Zavayah when the lab underwent a space remodel in 2023.
Students loved feeding him and passing him around during class. Often while I would give lectures he was very active in his take. I think he was trying to get away.
He was very much loved by students, parents, people in the building, and I too loved having him around. He was truly a part of the SWD wonders of spectacle. It will be different not having him around.

Does anyone have a UVB light that they don't want? Mines went out and need one for Atom our bearded dragon. I thought to ask around before buying one.

I'm pretty excited about the life science class. It has had this enrollment in a few years. It makes me proud and so appreciated. I am looking forward to working and teaching them throughout the year.

This class is set for a dynamically phenomenonal path, and I'm going to steer them in the right academic path.
