Just wrapped up a single 697' microtunnel drive under Beltway 8—36" Permalok, 50' deep, zero surface disruption.

Late Saturday night break-in hit dead center—just like it’s supposed to – just how our team rolls.

Massive thanks to &S Construction for trusting us with the work, and to the Harris County Regional Water Authority for the opportunity to help expand critical for the community.

We’re installing 697 feet of critical for the Central Harris County Water Regional Authority beneath Beltway 8. Partnering with V&S Construction, we're installing 36" Permalok casing while keeps moving above.

The 22' diameter shafts, lined with plates from Jenmar, are in place and the microtunnel drive is moving forward. This is what separates from traditional methods:

After 35+ years working on , we've seen how quickly ground conditions change during the hurricane season.

We've learned that saturated soils don't just cause surface flooding, they create real challenges for buried . Traditional open-cut work becomes problematic when clay soils expand and sandy soils lose stability.

1. Clay soils lose strength when saturated, turning stable ground problematic after heavy rain.
