Congratulations to Ms. Jessica Mead, Brock Services Coatings Inspector at P66-Lake Charles, for being nominated by Brock employees and winning an AMPP Level II Certificate of Scholarship from the SABINE Coating Society! The scholarship was presented by the board members of the Sabine Coating Society and Brock's P66 site manager, Chris Ledet, on October 1, 2026. The board members include Robert Barnes (MineralTech, LLC), Bobby Prestenbach (Sherwin Williams Coatings), and Chris Maze- not pictured (Dehumidification Technologies, LP).

The Sabine Coating Society was started 3 years ago with a mission to elevate the coatings industry through education, networking, and professional development. By raising funds for AMPP certification scholarships and providing technical presentations, the society helps ambitious professionals grow their careers while connecting them with knowledgeable industry leaders. Together, they are investing in the future of the coatings industry, one person at a time.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the countless people who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable circumstances.

Today, we pause to honor the nearly 3,000 people who never made it home and recognize the courage of the first responders, service members and everyday individuals who answered the call to help.

Brock is seeking a Project Manager in Geismar, LA, who will be responsible for planning, organizing and managing projects for a geographical area, ensuring on time completion, within budget, and to the required customer standards, while also managing resources and stakeholder relationships. This position manages a team of superintendents and site managers to successfully execute projects.

Here are a few experience requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of project management experience
- PMP & PMI, or equivalent, desirable
- Supervisory experience with knowledge of employment practices (hiring and termination;
discipline, attendance, employment regulations, pay practices, etc.)
