The Karsten team was out at Westside Sporting Grounds for the Endurance Builders 2026 Clay Shoot — and we had a blast.

More importantly, we were proud to serve as a Station Sponsor for an event benefiting the PTSD Foundation of America's Camp Hope — a residential treatment facility in Houston providing free, veteran-centered care to those battling the invisible wounds of war. PTSD Foundation of America - Camp Hope

Karsten joined job sites across the country for the National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction. We stopped work. We talked. We reminded each other why it matters.

Falls are the number one cause of construction fatalities and the best way to fight that is the conversation you have before anyone gets hurt.

Proud of every person on our crews for taking safety seriously.

Karsten was honored to participate in Career Day at St. Peter Catholic Career & Technical High School, connecting with students interested in careers across the skilled trades.

Our Training & Education Program Manager, Sofia Luna Cano, spoke with students about her career journey and the opportunities available in commercial construction, from apprenticeships to leadership roles.

Thank you to St. Peter Catholic for creating a space where students can explore careers, ask questions, and discover paths they may not have considered before.

As part of the AGC Houston Leadership Class of 2026, Alex Kerr participated in the Ace Mentor Houston 13th Annual Build It Forward event - a day dedicated to service, mentorship and investing in the next generation of our industry.

We're also proud of Jon Karsten for serving as a facilitator for the 26' Leadership AGC class, helping guide emerging leaders across Houston's construction community.
