After years of pursuing this endeavor, Shell has finally completed all of its surveying and preparation in order to tap the Arctic frontier.

The efforts made by these companies as well as the U.S. Government in the Arctic waters to safely ready the area and equipment necessary are expected to bring down oil prices by December of this year, and continue to aide in the long haul.
