Not every job stays at ground level. Part of this week's work at METRO's Westpark Facility meant getting up on the roof to clean the main exhaust line all the way to the termination point — which, before we got there, was completely clogged with years of dust and debris.

Not every dryer vent problem is solved by just cleaning it. This Cypress home had a long run out to the exterior, and even clean, the airflow was too weak to clear lint properly — that's a real fire-safety issue over time. The fix is a booster fan wired inline on the duct, giving the air a second push partway through. Plug-in unit, no electrician needed. Vent's clean and moving air the way it should now.

Took a look inside this Houston home's ductwork and the flex runs were overdue. A few hours of rotary brushing and HEPA vacuuming later, the system's moving clean air again. This kind of buildup is normal after a few years — you just don't see it until someone opens it up.
