🎥 Day in the Life as President & CEO | Episode 9

Not every CEO day is strategy meetings and exciting new projects. Some days are about making sure all the little things behind the business are actually working.

This week that meant auditing receipts, reviewing our economic nexus as we continue to grow into more states, driving to the bank to reset what felt like ALL of our auto-payments, and wrapping up with my Friday reports.

It's not necessarily the glamorous side of running a business, but knowing where the money is going, staying compliant, and keeping a close eye on the numbers is every bit as important as growing sales.

Sometimes running the business means doing the boring stuff really, really well. 💚

🎥 Day in the Life as President & CEO | Episode 8: Chicago Edition

Sometimes a day in the life of running OneHydraulics means not being at OneHydraulics at all. ✈️

This week took me to Chicago for the 2026 IMI National Partners Meeting, where we spent a couple of packed days learning about new products, new faces, new plans, and new improvements coming our way in 2026 and 2027.

Beyond the presentations, these meetings give us the chance to exchange ideas with other partners, meet new people, network with old friends, and get a better understanding of where IMI is headed, and where we're headed together.

The days are long and there's a lot to absorb, but the insights and relationships are invaluable. We're grateful to be part of the IMI partnership and excited about what's ahead! 💚

🎥 Day in the Life as President & CEO | Episode 7

The kids are officially back in school, which means it's back to business.

Today's schedule included progress payments for large customer orders, working on a new business plan, month-end reporting, ordering new marketing materials for our sales team, reviewing sales tax processes, photographing new inventory, processing payroll changes, and showing off a few of the cool things around our shop.

One question I get all the time is, "What's the secret sauce behind OneHydraulics?"

The truth is... I don't think there is one.

Success isn't a recipe. There isn't one decision, one strategy, or one shortcut that suddenly makes a business successful. Every day, my job is simply to conserve cash, spend responsibly, hire great people, and make the best decisions I can with the information I have at the time. Then I wake up the next morning and do it again.

It's not glamorous, but it's real life, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

One of the unexpected perks of working in fluid power is that you start noticing it everywhere. 💚

While cruising through Endicott Arm Fjord in Alaska aboard the Carnival Spirit, I spotted a Gemels ball valve as part of the ship's lifeboat launch system. Most people probably walked right past it, but I couldn't help but appreciate seeing a familiar product doing exactly what it was designed to do. (And hopefully, I never have to see it in action! 😅)

It's a great reminder that fluid power isn't confined to factories or job sites. It's quietly at work in places all over the world... even in the middle of an Alaskan fjord.

I love seeing our industry in real-world applications. ⚙️🚢🏔️

You never know where you'll spot fluid power products!

While cruising through Alaska aboard the Carnival Spirit, I looked down the side of the ship and immediately recognized something small, green, and very familiar... STAUFF welded tube clamps securing tubing along the vessel! It was such a fun surprise to spot a product we sell every day in an unexpected place.

It's also a great reminder that fluid power is everywhere. From manufacturing plants and construction equipment to offshore applications, and even cruise ships, these products quietly keep the world moving.

I love seeing our industry out in the wild. ⚙️🚢🏔️

🎥 Day in the Life as President & CEO | Episode 6

Another day wearing a dozen different hats at OneHydraulics! I should have been a milliner. 🎩

Today started with onboarding a new employee—benefits, handbook, I-9s, and all the first-day essentials. I also spent time working through our annual healthcare renewal, which is always a reminder that the decisions we make as an employer have a real impact on our team's lives.

I finally found my missing vlogging camera (🎉), only to discover the guys had "borrowed" my studio lights for a customer quality inspection. 😂

We filmed some new marketing content on our Pneumatics Row, celebrated the launch of our new Task Glove line, analyzed inventory for a new product line, worked through cash flow and payables, and squeezed in a little prep for our family trip to Alaska.

No two days are ever the same, and that's exactly why I love what I do. 💚
