Kodiak FRP Rebar is the United States manufacturer & distributor of Fiberglass Rebar & Basalt Rebar. Kodiak FRP Rebar is used to reinforce concrete in applications where corrosive environments prohibit the use of steel or where a high tensile strength is needed with much less weight. FRP Rebar is also specified where magnetic or electrical interference may be encountered. Kodiak fiberglass Rebar was developed by Leroy Heston In 1984 & is the first Fiberglass Rebar Manufacturer in The United States. Kodiak Rebar was used to build the First Vehicular Bridge for the Federal Highway department using no steel on the Mckinleyville Bridge over Buffalo Creek, West Virginia in 1996.
