We are the DiscoBots, K-12 robotics team #2587 out of Houston, TX. We work with students mainly in the inner loop of Houston !

We're strong competitors if we do say so ourselves, having won many awards in the few years we've existed. FRC and VEX aren't just about the games, though--their main goal is inspiring others into careers of engineering and science. We're quite proud to be a part of these competitions!

VEX Worlds was a blast ! We had three teams compete at the event this week(285c,x,z). Students from learned a lot and performed well in the competition.

We won a Blue Banner at the Texas State Championship! Thank you to Valor 6800 and Robonauts 118 for the invite to join their alliance. It has been over a decade since our team has won a blue banner and we will savor this for a while.

Disco Teams 285z and 285c from CVHS placed 100+ skill scores at the VEX tournament this weekend. 285z was a finalist and skills champion of the event.

FIRST Kickoff begun this weekend with the 2026 season, Rebuilt. Lamar , Carnegie Vanguard and Westside will be hosting meetings at their schools to develop a robot design.
