New peer-reviewed research published in Scientific Reports (Nature) evaluated the effect of heat-generated obturation techniques on dentin bond strength.
Under Warm Vertical Compaction (WVC), NeoSEALER® Flo demonstrated among the highest bond strength values, with higher mean values than AH Plus and BioRoot RCS. No other sealer performed better under WVC.
Importantly, NeoSEALER Flo maintained comparable bond strength between hydraulic condensation and warm vertical compaction techniques, indicating strong resistance to thermal stress relative to resin-based alternatives.
In contrast, AH Plus (epoxy resin) and BioRoot RCS exhibited significantly reduced bond strength when exposed to heat-based obturation techniques.
These findings support the stability and performance of premixed bioceramic sealers in modern obturation workflows.
