There's a certain kind of compliment that can't be bought.
Every now and then, a customer will bring in a piece of equipment that was repaired years—sometimes decades—ago. While inspecting the unit, they'll find one of our old repair tags still attached.
The conversation usually goes something like this:
"We saw your tag on it, so we figured we'd bring it back to the people who fixed it the first time."
That's the kind of trust that is earned over time.
