MTS Houston YP

MTS Houston YP Bridging the gap between knowledge and experience in the oil and gas industry for our young professionals with less than 7 years experience.

The purpose of the Young Professionals is to connect young graduates/engineers with MTS Houston. Some of the goals of
the committee will be to:

• Specifically target, attract and retain young professionals into the Marine technology industry.
• Promote growth and exposure for young professionals through MTS sponsored training seminars and events.
• Expose young professionals to key projects, indu

stry leaders and companies.
• Identify resources and tools to enhance careers.
• Provide mentor/mentee relationships within MTS Houston, and work with MTS college sections. Although we are called the Young Professionals, it does not require that members be young, but rather be young in the industry with less than 7 years of experience. Once having attended a Young Professionals lunch & learn and having decided to join, membership to the group requires one to become a MTS member, if not already.
