TQM; whose name became synonymous with the Deming's Quality Program and the International Standards Organization (ISO), is a start-up LLC that will be the outsourced Quality Group for many of the companies outlined above. The majority of the Steel Trading Companies that service their space in these sectors do not have quality groups of their own. They rely mostly on their sales staff to ensure that the requirements of their purchase specifications are met. This is considered to be a sub-standard process in our industry and the steel traders are typically plagued by quality issues as a result. In some cases, their purchase specifications are sub-standard as well. TQM will add value by acing as both Quality Assurance and as Quality Control to these companies. We will re-rationalize these specifications and act as Quality Consultants to insure that these companies purchase to the proper specifications.
TQM will provide technical and non-technical services that include:
1) Inbound inspection of customer materials to industry, regulatory and customer specifications.
2) Gap analysis to the same specifications.
3) Value added destructive and non-destructive testing to qualify these materials when they do not meet the specifications.
4) Inventory control including weekly cycle counts to insure inventory accuracy.
5) Specialized storage of these materials.
6) Loading/Unloading and 24 hour logistics.
7) Outbound inspections to insure that our customers are providing qualified materials to their customer's specifications.
8) 24 hour on site security and web based security cameras that customer can log on to watch.
9) Local area electronic in every location system that shows inventory locations in real time on a virtual display of the yard.
10) Cutting, Marking, Tagging and stamping per the customer requirement.
11) Complete outsourced Quality Control, Shipping/Receiving, inverntory control group with after sales service to act as our customers Quality Assurance Group. Attending Quality meetings with our customer and/or our customers customer and representiong our customers during any kind of quality issues with their customers.
