Loading up the last arch and getting another big piece ready to hit the road!

What you’re looking at is actually only part of the finished structure. These two massive arches connect together to become one, but keeping them separated makes transportation and handling much more manageable.

Now let’s see how good everyone is at judging size from a photo.

Can you guess the overall length once both arches are connected?

Take a good look at John standing next to it for some perspective before you make your guess.

The shop is busy, projects are coming in, and we’re grateful for every bit of it.

Safety meetings aren’t just another box to check at JK Welding. They’re about getting everyone together, communicating, learning, and making sure we’re looking out for one another.

And lately, we’ve been adding a little something extra.

This week, we gave away a few more gift cards and some cash to the guys. Even our production supervisor was caught completely off guard when he heard his name called!

But our favorite part is looking around and seeing everyone laughing, smiling, and enjoying the moment together.

We work hard around here. It’s good to have a little fun together too.

These Texas temperatures have been crazy, and our guys have been out there working hard through the heat every day.

So we decided it was time for a cool-down.

We brought the Kona Ice truck out to JK Welding and treated the crew to some snow cones!

It’s a small way to say thank you to the people who keep showing up, working hard, and keeping our projects moving.

Work hard. Stay cool. And take care of your people.

The flowers officially have their stems.

Our team has the stems welded up, and we’re finishing the last few flowers before this unique aluminum project reaches completion.

Even in raw aluminum, these are already looking impressive. Once the finishing work and paint are complete, this project is going to look completely different.

From an image and an idea to massive metal flowers standing tall. This has been a fun one to watch come together.

Our regular safety meetings are getting a little more interesting.

Starting this week, we’re adding a random drawing for the guys with a few gift cards up for grabs.

Burger King, Whataburger and Texas Roadhouse made the first round.

It’s a simple way to have some fun, show appreciation for our team, and give everyone another reason to look forward to getting together for our safety meetings.

This won’t be the same thing every time either. We plan on changing up the prizes over the next few meetings.

Safety first. Then let’s see whose name gets pulled.

You know that smirk someone gets when they’re confident the project is coming together exactly how it should?

Our lead TIG welder had it right before John started laughing.

There is a lot happening behind the scenes on this custom metal flower project. It takes planning, communication, creativity, and plenty of skilled TIG welding to turn an idea into something this large.

The confidence comes from knowing your craft and trusting the people working beside you.

These flowers are getting closer to completion, and we cannot wait to show you the finished project.
