At Gexa Energy, being part of the communities we serve means showing up in ways that truly matter. Together with Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana, we had the honor of helping bring one very special dream to life.

Four-year-old Max, lovingly known as “Gordo,” walked into our office thinking it was just another day… but what he discovered was so much bigger.

Surrounded by Gexa employees and Make-A-Wish supporters, Gordo learned his dream of attending Monster Jam is officially coming true.

A huge fan of trucks like Grave Digger and Megalodon, Gordo has faced more than any child should. Witnessing his joy firsthand was a powerful reminder of the impact we can make when we come together.

We are incredibly proud of our partnership with Make-A-Wish and grateful to play a role in creating moments of hope, strength, and joy for families right here in Houston.

Welcoming 80 Future Leaders to the Office

Yesterday our office was full of bright energy as we welcomed more than 80 kids for Bring Your Kid to Work Day. Our teams opened their doors and gave our youngest visitors a hands‑on look at what each department does. From learning how we support customers to seeing how we serve communities across Texas, the kids asked great questions and were excited to see everything up close.

It was a meaningful reminder of Texans Serving Texans and the impact our work has on the families we serve. We loved watching future leaders explore the world their parents help shape every day.

Twenty Gexa Energy employees, including several members of our executive team, spent the day volunteering at The Beacon (Houston). Our team prepared and served meals, washed and folded laundry, and helped support the essential services The Beacon provides to our unhoused neighbors.

At Gexa, service isn’t something we talk about from afar. It is something we do together. Seeing our leaders step into the kitchen and onto the serving line sets the tone for what Texans Serving Texans truly means. Their example inspires all of us to show up with heart, humility and a commitment to caring for our community.
