Fervo Energy has set a new company record for drilling pace, completing Sawtooth 7 — the ninth well at Cape Station for Phase II — from spud to total depth in just 21 days using our most advanced 3.0 well design.

Matching the 21-day drilling pace Fervo previously achieved for Cape Station Phase I wells that were substantially shallower and shorter, Sawtooth 7 reached a measured depth of 19,448 feet with a 7,500-foot lateral. Since drilling our first Cape Station well, we've increased drilling rates by 143%, demonstrating how incremental learnings continue to drive major productivity gains and cost reductions over time.

Based on the initial Phase II drilling results using our 3.0 well design, we expect to produce substantially more megawatts per well while significantly improving the unit economics of future GeoBlocks to advance the deployment of affordable, dependable, 24/7 carbon-free power.

Fervo Energy, NVIDIA, and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory are collaborating to develop EGS-Twin, a next-generation digital twin platform designed to accelerate geothermal development.

By integrating high-resolution field data with physics-based modeling and AI-driven forecasting, EGS-Twin is designed to provide real-time insight into subsurface behavior and operational performance – helping operators optimize power generation and strengthen the scalability of enhanced geothermal systems.

Using currently available proprietary field data from Fervo's Nevada and Utah sites, PNNL researchers will begin training the digital twin immediately and will continue to refine the platform as additional production data comes online, with the platform scheduled for implementation by 2029.

Together with NVIDIA and PNNL, we're bringing AI, advanced computing, and geothermal expertise together to accelerate the deployment of next-generation geothermal systems.

As demand for clean, firm power continues to grow, scaling geothermal deployment requires strong operational leadership across every part of the business.

Today, we're happy to announce the promotion of Sarah Jewett to Chief Operating Officer, bringing the company’s core operating functions under a unified leadership structure as we accelerate the commercial deployment of our standardized enhanced geothermal systems (EGS) development model.

Since joining Fervo in 2020, Sarah has helped build the strategic, organizational, and operational foundation that has supported the company’s growth from startup to publicly traded energy company. In her new role, she'll lead the operating functions critical to delivering Fervo’s expanding project portfolio across utility, data center, and industrial markets.

The work behind enhanced geothermal systems happens across teams, disciplines, and job functions. Fervo’s innovative approach is helping unlock the earth’s heat in new places, and the people behind that work are what make it possible.

Teammates like our Pre-Construction Manager, Kei Tomozawa, help make this system a reality – inspecting and testing the equipment that helps deliver our power to the grid, like Fervo’s generator step-up transformer.

Fervo Energy is proud to support the launch of “Energy Beneath Our Feet,” a new permanent exhibit at the Frehner Museum of Natural History at Southern Utah University.

Located just miles from our flagship development, Cape Station, the exhibit offers an interactive look at next-generation — from subsurface systems to the people and roles that bring projects to life.

It also introduces the Geothermal Launchpad, an online microcredential course developed by SUU and Fervo. Open to both students and learners of all ages, the course combines geoscience fundamentals with a gamified, virtual experience exploring careers across a geothermal site.

Whether you're a student, educator, or simply curious about carbon-free energy, this is a new way to learn about the technology shaping the future of the grid.

Despite existing for over 100 years, energy makes up only 0.5% of existing U.S. electricity supply. At Fervo Energy, we see this gap as one of the biggest opportunities the energy sector has to offer.

By combining advanced drilling innovation with next-generation geothermal development, our technology is poised to turn geothermal into reliable, affordable, carbon-free energy that's ready to be deployed across the entire country — this decade.

Thank you to Liberty Mutual Insurance for sharing our vision to accelerate geothermal from a niche resource to a global solution. Learn more about our collaboration here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-w6EiBKOr_Q&t=192s

Fervo is excited to expand our strategic collaboration with Vallourec, a world leader in premium tubular solutions for the energy industry. This new five-year agreement reinforces our ongoing work with Vallourec, a leading supplier of U.S.-manufactured casing for geothermal wells, which are produced at their facility in Youngstown, Ohio.

Pushing the envelope in geothermal deployment requires simultaneous innovation in equipment and supply chain. Vallourec’s precision-engineered, high-performance tubulars provide the innovative solution geothermal energy needs to effectively case wells in harsh geothermal environments.

This deal gives us the cost certainty and supply chain resilience to scale our GeoBlock model with confidence. We're excited to continue our rapid growth and unlock new opportunities for American-made steel.

Fervo Energy has signed a new turbine supply agreement with Turboden S.p.A., part of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), to support deployment of up to 35 GeoBlocks of 50 MW each — totaling 1.7 GW of firm, 24/7 carbon-free power.

Standardized 50 MW GeoBlocks enable faster, more predictable buildout as we scale. Securing key equipment and delivery timelines ensures projects stay on track. And as power demand rises, driven by AI and data centers, geothermal is ready to deliver reliable, around-the-clock energy.

This framework agreement strengthens the supply chain needed to build geothermal at scale, with defined delivery timelines that help reduce risk and accelerate deployment.

By combining Fervo’s enhanced geothermal approach with Turboden’s ORC technology and the global capabilities of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, we’re building the foundation to deploy clean, firm power — at speed and at scale.
